Where can I learn about how to do research?
Answer
You can always reach out to a librarian for support with research. We are here to help! Librarians are available in person during reference assistance hours, by appointment online or in person, and via chat, email, and telephone.
In addition, the library offers:
- Online tutorials on doing research. Tutorials are available on finding books, finding articles, evaluating sources, and citing sources.
- Library 101, a self-paced tutorial on Blackboard, in which you can learn all about research and library skills in short lessons. To enroll in Library 101, email Jacob Hopkins (jacob.hopkins@udc.edu) to request access.
- A variety of video tutorials and recorded webinars on the UDC Library YouTube channel.
Faculty can also request tailored information literacy instruction for their classes.
