Answer

The best way to find books on a particular subject is to do a keyword search in the  Aladin catalog.

A keyword search allows you to find books on a particular subject without knowing the title or author of a book.

For example, if I wanted to find a book on nursing during the Civil War, I could do a keyword search using those terms: "nursing" and "Civil War."

For more information on doing keyword searches, see this website: http://www.lib.utah.edu/static-content/marriottlibrary/files/pdf/instruction_keyword2.pdf

If you're having trouble please stop by the Reference Desk on the 5th floor of the library, or send us an email or chat.
